Executive Director

waterfallAs Executive Director / Administrator of Harrison Homes, Antoinette Ardis brings to the organization a myriad of experiences gathered over the past 25 years.  Antoinette, or “Ms. Toni” as she is referred to by our residents, holds a JD from the University of Southern California and an MBA from National University.  Not one to rest on her laurels, she is also working on her Ph.D. in Organizational Development from Saybrook Graduate School in San Francisco.

Prior to working with Harrison Homes, Antoinette was a member of the faculty at Carrington College California for twelve years.  She also worked for the L.A. County Office of the District Attorney both during and after graduating from law school and also worked with the Adelphous House group home in Sacramento.

Under her directorship, Antoinette has successfully instituted a variety of new programming for HHI. She has helped launch Aliya House as a haven for commercially sexually exploited (CSEC) clients.  That was shortly followed by the creation of Pride House, a program designed to provide residential care for LGBTQ+ teens.  Her mission is to inspire hope for the future of the young men and women she serves and to motivate and educate them before their re-entry into society.

The mother of two adult children and foster parent to a rambunctious teenager, Antoinette spends all of her spare time helping them to grow and realize all of their dreams.  Antoinette also leads three Girl Scout troops and would be more than happy to sell you some cookies.  Money earned from their cookie sales finances the troop’s many travels, including their trip to Costa Rica in the summer of 2015 and an upcoming trip to London, Paris and Rome in 2019.  The photo above is of Antoinette taking in the view of the Costa Rican rain forest.
